新泽西、Virginia两州监狱使用太阳能，减少温室气体排放

            
    Constellation能源公司称，该公司正为弗吉尼亚州及新泽西州的联邦监狱安装太阳能发电系统，以减少能源使用和温室气体排放。
    Constellation公司说，弗吉尼亚州Fairton 及 Petersburg 两大监狱的项目都自行支付费用，但无前期花销。
新泽西监狱系统希望利用太阳能电源、智能控制及其它能源技术削减监狱27%的能源利用及42%的水的使用。在弗吉尼亚州，生物热能、太阳能和电动车都在积极的改进当中。        
    白宫今日表示，它希望从如员工驾车等间接来源减少30%的温室气体排放量。随后，个各联邦机构出台法令，减少包括建筑物等直接温室气体来源，计划在未来10年内减排28%。

 BALTIMORE ― Constellation Energy says it is working with federal prisons in Virginia and New Jersey to cut energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
Constellation says the projects at prisons in Fairton and Petersburg, Va., will pay for themselves with no upfront costs.
    Solar power, smart energy controls and other technologies are expected to cut energy use 27 percent and water use 42 percent at the New Jersey prison. In Virginia, biomass heating, solar power, and electric vehicles are among the improvements.
    The White House said today it wants to cut greenhouse emissions from indirect sources such as employee driving 13 percent. That follows a directive that federal agencies cut pollution from direct sources, including buildings, 28 percent in the next decade.
