Georgia 电力将会加大太阳能能源的采购

美国当地8月21日报道，Georgia电力计划加大太阳能采购，从独立电力生产商那里购买，其中2.5MW是从用户，公司中购买，加起来总计为5MW的电量。

另外，Georgia电力公司打算自己生产1MW的电量，并且再购买1.4MW的太阳能：分别从Savannah地区购买1.2MW，从Georgia Pecan农场那边购买200KW。

Georgia Power plans to double its solar energy purchases from independent power producers - resulting in an additional 2.5 MW of capacity purchased from homes and businesses, bringing the total to slightly more than 5 MW.

The announcement was made by Georgia Public Service Commission Chairman Lauren McDonald, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

In addition, Georgia Power plans to build 1 MW of its own capacity, as well as purchase 1.4 MW of solar from a 1.2 MW project planned for the Savannah area and a 200 kW array at a Georgia pecan farm.
